In LOST SONGS Marta Raviglia and Simone Sassu guide the listener along a path in an endless imbalance between writing and improvisation. They draw from a huge repertoire, especially the music of the Twentieth century, which well represents a certain concept of contemporary era. Therefore, the lost songs become, ever changing and protean material. The lost songs are just an excuse of a complete abandon to the flow of the events, the evolutions of the timbre and to the revolutions of the soul.

Canzoni perdute e mai più ritrovate. Ricordi del mattino e della sera. Melodie affilate che si conficcano nella pelle. Ferite che non si rimarginano mai del tutto. Segni che restano. Nel tempo. Inquieti pensieri che si insinuano tutto d’un tratto. Canzoni perdute per sempre.
In LOST SONGS Marta Raviglia e Simone Sassu guidano l’ascoltatore lungo un cammino in continuo disequilibrio tra scrittura e improvvisazione. I due attingono ad un repertorio vastissimo, quello della musica del Novecento, che ben rappresenta una certa idea di contemporaneità. Le canzoni perdute si fanno, dunque, materiale mutevole e proteiforme. Le canzoni perdute sono solo il pretesto per abbandonarsi completamente al fluire degli eventi, alle evoluzioni del timbro e alle rivoluzioni dell’animo.
